SPONSOR A WINDOW

With a window sponsorship, your name or the name of your family, business or someone you wish to honor or memorialize will be etched into the glass of a window of your choosing, one (or more) of the many beautiful, unique windows within the factory complex. The factory has hundreds of windows, mostly in three basic types:

  • Wooden Sash – found mostly on the Phase 1 Willow Street building

  • Steel Frame – big and impressive, made to allow maximum daylight onto the factory floors

  • Leaded Glass – period reproduction windows found on the Executive Office Building, built in the 1910’s in an Elizabethan style

There are many levels at which you can become a Window Sponsor, based on the size, location and type of window you choose. Your contribution can be made all at once, pledged over time. Would you like to honor someone with a gift of a window, or gather a group together and all contribute towards one?

Each and  every window is labelled with a number. This is the actual catalog number given them by our architect as part of planning the historic preservation of the buildings. This number will stay with your window forever. As a thank you, we will send you a hand-stamped brass tag which bears your window’s unique number.

Window Sponsors at the $6,000 level and higher will receive a free copy of our self-published book "Our Windows: Seeing Art in an Industrial Past". Other Window Sponsors may purchase a copy at a reduced price. This book celebrates our windows in a collection of stunning photography by seventeen distinguished photographers. The book is available to the general public at this time. It is an exclusive gift for those who have joined the Ball & Socket family with a window sponsorship.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call us at 203-699-6420O or send an email to: fundraising@ballandsocket.org
